The log burner
01Wood and kindling live in the basket by the hearth, topped up between stays. Open the air vent fully to get it going, then ease it back. Please burn only the wood provided — nothing else.
The small stuff that makes a stay easy — Wi-Fi, the log burner, bins and parking. It all lives in a folder in the kitchen drawer too, in case you'd rather have it on paper.

Thermostat in the hall — set it wherever's comfortable, it's all included. Hot water is on demand. The bathroom towel rail has its own little switch on the wall.
Gas hob, electric oven, and a dishwasher under the counter (tablets in the cupboard above it). Cafetière and a bag of local beans sit by the kettle.
Smart TV in the living room — sign into your own Netflix or iPlayer and it signs out automatically when you check out.
Bins are down the side of the house. Black is general, green is recycling. Collection is Wednesday morning — if you're here, please pop them to the kerb.
One permit-free space on the street right outside (permit's on the dashboard). Plenty of unrestricted parking one street back if friends visit.
Nothing fussy — five small things and you're off. Safe travels.
